Turtle's Point: A Perfect Place for a Serene Rendezvous

Summer fever just started to reach its climax. With a lot of commercially organized tours, fully-booked resort rooms, crowded beaches and basically, lots of tourists frolicking around, you may stop for a while and consider a spot where you can be alone with yourself and be with a group in a private resort with the least tourists.

A great place to experience these is a simple ride to the north. Located almost 50 kilometers away from Cebu City, Turtle's Point speaks true to its name. You can watch sea turtles that seem to invite you for a good swim; relax in a place where you can only hear the crashing of the waves as it hits the cliff; and eventually, commune with nature and its effects to yourself.
Why is Turtle's Point a pleasant place to spend your weekend? You can expect a modern-Filipino architecture rest house, two separate rooms, a grilling area and a gazebo at its beachfront. Though it doesn't have the sugary white sand, Turtle's Point is a splendid scene to admire the azure blue seas which gives an impression of the endless horizon. Is it not a reason enough for you to spend your day at the beach and to stay overnight? Think about serenity, accessibility and a relaxing location.
Whereas tranquility is concerned, you can rent the entire place for a very reasonable price of 5,000 pesos overnight regardless of the number of people you are with. Imagine, Turtle's Point is a splendid rendezvous with your friends, family or loved-ones without distractions of other beach-goers.
Safety and security is not a problem since Turtle's Point has a gate. It is an assurance that outsiders are off-limits. Furthermore, it is across Binongkalan's Barangay Hall and the rest house's host is also the Barangay Captain of Binongkalan, Catmon. Parking space isn't a problem either. It has enough parking space good for 3 vehicles.
Another advantage of renting out Turtle's Point the entire day is the free usage of their facility such as kitchen utensils and stove, grill, and refrigerator. Water sports equipment like their kayak, life jacket, snorkeling gears and fishing rods are also free to use.
With all these things mentioned, Turtle's Point in Binongkalan, Catmon is a perfect place for a private rendezvous with a great value for money. Enjoy summer with a different touch by spending time by yourself and with your close friends here in Turtle's Point, Binongkalan, Catmon.

Going there:
1. From the North Bus Terminal, ride a bus bound to Catmon. Tell the bus driver to stop you at Binongkalan, Catmon with a KM47 mark. It is located at the left side of the ride just across Binongkalan Barangay Hall. Fare ranges from 40-60 pesos.
Note*: It is advantageous to have a private vehicle.
2. Bring your own provisions. The caretaker provides 2 gallons of water for drinking. But the rest of the food is on your own expense. You wouldn't worry about the utensils. They have enough for a group of 10. You can make use of their refrigerator, too.
3. The place is clean and well-maintained. It supplies fresh water for cooking and bathing. Toilet and bath are available in every room.
