Top Silog District: Silog and Halo-Halo Cafe

The origin of tapsilog remains a puzzle for every Filipino. Though the term was coined by combining three common Filipino words "tapa" meaning dried and preserved beef, "sinigang" meaning fried rice and "itlog" egg in a sunny-side-up style. This combination paves way to an already common Filipino breakfast in different parts of the country thus, Top Silog District: Silog and Halo-Halo Cafe ventures in this market.
"Pick your own silog..."
Run by Fred and Mark Rizon who are also the co-owners of Sebastien Hotel, Top Silog District: Silog and Halo-Halo Cafe opens a rather rustic, industrial-themed "tapsilogan" on the ground floor of Sebastien Hotel, M.L. Quezon, Highway, Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, a few meters away from Mactan Newtown and Angasil Road.
"Top Silog's Pinoy Burger"
They offer a variety of silogs - Spicy Chicken Silog, Pork Chop Silog, Pork Breaded Silog and Adobo Silog. Aside from these renowned Filipino silogs, Pinoy Burger is considered their very own version of the familiar burger. Pinoy Burger also tops the menu! Well, as for me, I fell in love with their Spicy Chicken Wings. It has the right amount of spiciness which doesn't over power the chicken meat while still savoring the tenderness of the chicken.
"Hungarian Sausage Silog"
Another gustatory delight is the Western-style Hungarian Sausage Silog. The sausage, itself, is a bit spicy which actually added the diners' gusto to crave for some more - say a dessert, perhaps.
"White Halo-Halo and Original Halo-Halo"
Halo-Halo is an all-time Pinoy favorite dessert. In fact, wherever you go and in different regions in the country, you can find yourself in a Filipino restaurant that serves halo-halo. Top Silog District: Silog and Halo-Halo Cafe offers original halo-halo and white halo-halo. You can request for the amount of sweetness in your halo-halo, as well.
"Rustic Industrial-Themed Interior"
Top Silog District: Silog and Halo-Halo Cafe is open 24-hours, with Wi-fi connection, and they also have free delivery service around Lapu-Lapu City. An Avenger-themed extension will soon open sometime this year! So, watch out for that!
